P4 Ninjas!

In January, Primary 4 took part in a nunchucks taster session with Alex from Nunchaku Scotland. We were a bit hesitant at first, but soon got in to the swing of things! We learned some basic chuck skills, including the arm switch and figure eight. We also talked about how developing nunchuck skills can help us to improve our coordination, flexibility and precision. We really enjoyed our session, thank you Alex!

Leon has real nunchuck skills, look at him go!

This stuff is harder than it looks...

P4 Visit the Science Centre!

Glasgow Science Centre

In December, Primary 4 were lucky enough to spend the day at Glasgow Science Centre! We watched the Christmas Science Show and loved all of the experiments! We also had a lot of fun exploring each of the levels, learning about the body, physics and energy.

Evan and Sasha sent a message through the parabolic microphone.

We had lots of fun playing with the optical illusion mirrors!

Look, we're upside down!!

Lauren and Leah built the helix structure that makes up our DNA

Brooke, Leon, John, Boyd and George had lots of fun designing and building a track for a toy car.

Lacey and Emily made the bowl sing and the water shake!

Mary, Aleishia, Rhys and Allannah had enjoyed constructing models out of shapes.

Where has Millie's body gone?!

And Eva's too?!

Cara was blown away by the physics that kept this ball in the air!

Thank you to the Glasgow Science Centre for having us, and thank you Primary 4 for being such enthusiastic scientists!
