No teething problems for Primary 4!

Teeth Week!

As part of our new topic on staying healthy ("healthy body, healthy mind"), Primary 4 have begun to explore hygiene. They discussed the different areas involved in staying clean, and thought about why it is important to have good personal hygiene.

This week, the class focused in particular on dental hygiene and how to brush your teeth properly. The children completed a number of activities about brushing their teeth, and wrote some fantastic instructions during Big Writing time. Some writers even used adverbs to make their writing more detailed, which is very impressive for Primary 4!

Fantastic instruction writing John!

Can you spot the adverbs in George's instructions?
Millie has used lots of adverbs as well.

April's Achievements

April also saw lots of extra-curricular achievements from Primary 4.  Well done to Cara, Leah, Libby and Sasha for earning medals in their pre-bronze tap exam, and congratulations to Brooke Stewart for winning the gold award for trying hard at Irish dancing. We are very proud of all of you!

Also a massive congratulations to our tennis players for coming second in the WDC tennis festival! The children tried very hard and won almost all of their matches, well done Libby, Evan and Lauren!
