Roman Feast!
To celebrate the end of our IDL topic on the Romans, Primary 4 had a fantastic Roman feast!

In Roman times, it was normal to eat with your fingers whilst lying down. It was also polite to burp to show your appreciation!
Thankfully there was none of that from Primary 4...

We tried lots of food, including bread, figs, honey and dates! We tasted the food, then discussed what we liked and didn't like about it.

Finally, we washed it all down with a nice cup of (juice)wine, just like the Romans!

We even had a well-timed visit from Mr Paton. He loved trying the Roman food!
