P5B Titanic STEM Challenge

Primary 5b have enjoyed learning all about Titanic during their topic work. One big question that we had was 'how did the Titanic float when it was so big?' During STEM, we learned about buoyancy and carried out our own experiments with tin foil boats. After weighing objects in our boats, we found that the bigger the boat, the more weight it could carry before sinking because of forces pushing the boat in the water.
